Project Summary

Luna Vista, located at 950 El Camino Real, is an affordable housing development and is a 71-unit, 5-story, wood-framed structure with 1 story of Type-I concrete construction on the ground floor. The 48,812 sq. ft. building features a naturally ventilated lobby that spans across the building, resident lounges, common screened decks on every floor, and a roof deck with a raised photovoltaic canopy on a steel structure to offset energy use. There are 74 stalls of structured parking adjacent to El Camino Real Street.

The design follows the principles of the El Camino Real Precise Plan​, which intends to transform the corridor with people-friendly places, gathering spaces, key destinations, and improvements while promoting safety and comfort.
