Nibbi Receives Corporate Philanthropy Award
Nibbi Brothers General Contractors was named one of the Bay Area’s Top Corporate Philanthropists by the San Francisco Business Times.
The San Francisco Business Times ranks Bay Area companies for its Corporate Philanthropy Awards in two separate categories: by the amount they contribute to philanthropy, and by the percentage of profit they contribute to philanthropy. The magazine also recognizes companies for outstanding volunteer activities and contributions to education and youth, among other categories.
Nibbi has made the Top Corporate Philanthropists list the last three years running (or, ever since the firm began applying for the award).
While Nibbi has supported community since its founding 62 years ago, today it continues that effort with even greater focus and financial strength. In a three-month time period alone this year, Nibbi employees—including the partners, project executives, project managers and others—attended more than 40 after-hour functions in support of local non-profit organizations and charities. “Social Responsibility is one of our core values,” says Director of Business Development Joe Olla. “It’s at the heart of who we are as a company. We improve communities by constructing great buildings for them to live, work and learn in; but we also improve communities by giving our time and money to organizations with the goal of strengthening them economically, socially and environmentally.”
