Armstrong Place, Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Affordable Senior Housing Project In San Francisco’s Bayview District.

Nibbi Brothers joins David Baker + Architects, Bridge Housing, and SFRA on May 2, 2011 for the ribbon cutting of Armstrong Place.

Located on the Third Street light rail line in San Francisco’s Bayview district, Armstrong Place is a new multigenerational affordable housing community for seniors and first-time homebuyers. Armstrong Place, Senior Housing is a 5-story, 116-unit project. The building has a one-level concrete podium with four levels of wood-frame housing above. Nibbi Concrete performed the structural concrete and unique formwork for the exposed architectural walls that have African symbol patterns in them. The podium contains parking and 9,000 square-feet of commercial space which consists of the Third Street Youth Clinic, Wingstop, Get Fresh Juice Bar and City CarShare. Armstrong Place is a HUD 202 project and is funded through HUD and the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency.
