Project Summary

The California College of the Arts is a 280 unit Student Housing Project located in SoMa on Hooper Street. The building offers affordable housing for incoming students, allowing for collaboration and a comfortable place for students to work, live, and thrive. The new 140,000 sq. ft. building includes 520 beds and features a full dining room and kitchen.

The building is Type IIIB over Type I podium, project scope included HVAC, plumbing, electrical and fire sprinkler and alarm—all of which were design-build.
