A Dream Come True at the Davis Senior Center and Residence

Spirits soared at the grand opening of the Dr. George W. Davis Senior Center and Residence in Bayview recently. The joyous event, sponsored by the Board of Directors of Bayview Senior Services and developer McCormack Baron Salazar, was filled with fanfare, music, food, prayer and stirring speeches. It’s Grand Opening Season for Nibbi Projects

It’s been a busy season for celebrations! Three Nibbi projects – Nancy and Stephen Grand Family House, Franciscan Towers and Edgewater Isle Senior Apartments all recently celebrated their grand openings and re-openings. Here are a few of the highlights: Nancy and Stephen Grand Family House Over 500 visitors joined in celebrating the Nancy and Stephen Grand Family House grand opening. City of Hope: My Life-Saving Story by Erik Hansen

  This past month I was honored to be a speaker at the City of Hope’s ‘Spirit Of Life’ event in San Francisco. Contributions of over $150,000 were generously donated in a single evening, and the event raised almost $1 million overall. 700 people including representatives from Nibbi came in support of California’s leading research and treatment center for cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases. Nibbi at the ASC Student Competition 2016

Over 1300 students competed on 180 teams at the recent Associated Schools of Construction (ASC) Student Competition for Regions 6 & 7– a huge event! As an event sponsor, Nibbi joined the students and around 100 other companies for a few enjoyable days in Sparks NV. Grand Opening: The Yard @ Mission Rock

Yesterday, Nibbi enjoyed the afternoon at the grand opening of The Yard at Mission Rock. The pop up village, built from shipping containers, is located in the Giants Parking Lot and is home to Anchor Brewing, Peet’s Coffee, SFMade, The North Face, Off the Grid, the Whole Beast and a Sunday Farmers Market. Nibbi was proud to celebrate the grand opening  of the new Dining Room and Housing with the St. Anthony’s team on Saturday Oct. 4, 2014.  The building, located in the heart of the city’s Tenderloin district, houses a free dining room that is 43% larger than the previous St. Anthony’s Dining Room, the largest free clothing program in San Francisco, a social work center designed to help people move out of poverty, and the infrastructure to serve as a relief center in the event of a human or natural disaster. Rebuilding Together Peninsula 2013 @ “Casa Olga”

As Rebuilding Together jobs go, it was a tough one. The white house on the corner of Cipriani and Newlands streets in Belmont needed more than a power wash and a couple coats of paint; it also needed a serious garage clean-out, seismic work on the foundation, a drainage system at the back of the house, and all new kitchen appliances (dishwasher, oven/range/hood, refrigerator), among other tasks.
