The 2014 ENR Results are in…

Nibbi is honored to have been named to the 2014 Engineering News Record (ENR) Top 400 Contractors list as well as the Top 100 Green Buildings Contractors list.

Moving up 9 spots from 305 in 2013, Nibbi is ranked at number 296 on the Top 400 List. Nibbi returns to the Top 100 Green Buildings Contractors in 2014 at number 55, with over 95% of our total revenue generated from Green projects.

Mike Feuz Joins Nibbi Brothers

St. Anthony Foundation Dining Room / Mercy Senior Housing Tops Out

With the topping out of their new building on 121 Golden Gate Ave., the St. Anthony Foundation and Mercy Housing move closer to moving millions of people into better lives. When complete in September 2014, the new facility will house the venerable St. Anthony’s Dining Room (which has been temporarily housed at St. Anthony’s social services building at 150 Golden Gate Ave.), as well as 91 new units of permanently affordable senior housing.  The topping off ceremony and party took place on March 14 and was attending by the Nibbi Brothers General Contractors project team and representatives of St. Anthony Foundation and Mercy Housing. ...

Nibbi Breaks Ground on Dr. George W. Davis Senior Housing and Senior Center

Nibbi Concrete Wins Kaiser Excellence in Safety Award

Nibbi Concrete, which recently completed a $15.7 million project for the new Kaiser Oakland Hospital Project, yesterday received an “Excellence in Safety Award” from Kaiser Permanente / Zurich / McCarthy Building Co. The new Kaiser Oakland Hospital is a 13-story, 620,000-sq.-ft. structural steel building. Nibbi Concrete’s scope of work included all structural excavation, foundation work, concrete retaining walls, and all place and finish of structural concrete slabs for the hospital and hospital loading dock. Exploratorium @ Piers 15 & 17 Issued Temporary Certificate of Occupancy

Nibbi President Bob Nibbi announced today that the Port of San Francisco issued our Exploratorium @ Piers 15 & 17 project a temporary certificate of occupancy (TCO) just three days after the original contract completion date of November 2, 2012. “This is a great achievement for our project team and is the result of a lot of hard work and continued focus on the schedule,” said Nibbi. Joseph P. Mazzola Training Center Wins CICA Award

Nibbi’s Joseph P. Mazzola Training Center last night was recognized by CICA (Commercial Interiors Contractors Association) as 2012’s Best Bay Area Adaptive-Reuse Project. The Mazzola Training Center–outfitted with training stations for the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems seen in all building types, including residential, commercial, mixed-use, clean rooms, laboratories, hospitals and data centers–provides members of U.A. Local 38 with the opportunity to build their careers through hands-on experience with the most advanced equipment currently used in the plumbing trade.
