Project Summary
Located on 5th and Berry Street in San Francisco’s Mission Bay neighborhood, Edgewater Apartments became part of a major transformation for the city that turned Berry Street into a neighborhood seemingly overnight.
The 6-story housing development has a 2-level concrete podium with 194 parking spaces and three to four stories of Type III, fire-treated, wood-frame housing above. The building makes the most of its vertical and horizontal space, which is critical of a new development in San Francisco. The building was efficiently laid out to provide maximum space for the residents. There are a total of 194 units within the development that overlook the Mission Creek and the Central Waterfront. The unit types range from studios to 3-bedroom units. Amenities include a fitness center, ground floor lounge, business center, terrace decks, and an outdoor patio with fireplace.
