Project Summary

Crescent Cove Apartments is part of San Francisco’s Mission Bay neighborhood and is located on Berry Street between 5th & 6th Streets. The 236units of affordable housing were set aside for residents who make 50 to 60 percent of the area’s median income. The project was divided into two buildings, a townhouse building and a main building. The townhouse building is a long, curved structure with 52 units. The building acts as a buffer from the adjacent train tracks. The back of the building has a 14-inch windowless, solid wall that’s designed to block out the noise from the trains. This building is 3 stories of wood-frame on a concrete foundation. The third and fourth floors are 2-level townhomes and the bottom floor is studio units. Crescent Cove has 82 studio units, 90 1-bedroom units and 64 2-bedrooms units. Amenities include laundry facilities, community space, and an outdoor area with barbecue facilities. The adjacent parking lot has space for 177 cars as well as motorcycles, and 21 bike racks were placed throughout the complex.
