Project Summary

2012 Berkeley Way will be a 6-story, affordable, mixed-use development located in Downtown Berkeley. The gross building area is approximately 138,945 sq. ft.

The building will house two separate components within one building envelope. The BRIDGE development will include 89 units of affordable housing with a mix of studios, one-, and two-bedroom apartments. The Berkeley Food and Housing Development will house 53 units of permanent supportive housing with studio apartments on floors 3-6 and 44 temporary homeless housing beds.

The project will pursue the GreenPoint equivalent of LEED Gold.
