Project Summary

2012 Berkeley Way is a 6-story, affordable, mixed-use development in Downtown Berkeley. The gross building area is approximately 138,945 sq. ft.

The building houses two separate components within one building envelope. The BRIDGE development, Berkeley Way, includes 89 affordable housing units with studios, one-, and two-bedroom apartments. The Berkeley Food and Housing Project development, BFHP Hope Center, houses 53 units of permanent supportive housing with studio apartments on floors 3-6 and 44 temporary homeless housing beds.

The project is pursuing the GreenPoint equivalent of LEED Gold.
