330 Distel Circle is a 100% affordable housing building consisting of five levels of modular Type IIIA construction above a CLT / Mass Timber podium ground floor. EAH Housing, along with KTGY Architects, has chosen to utilize modular construction for this new development to drive efficiency and schedule.  The 330 Distel development will bring 90 units to the Los Altos community, and include studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units and mechanized parking; 3 car stackers with a pit.  Located conveniently half a block away from the El Camino Corridor, 330 Distel will provide future residents with plenty of accessibility as it will be located near public transit, shopping, banks, restaurants, medical/healthcare facilities, and other service businesses.

Additionally, 330 Distel Circle will include co-working spaces, a multi-purpose room, computer room, laundry room, and an amenitized outdoor podium spaces.  330 Distel will be an all-electric LEED Gold building.

Twenty units will be dedicated to formerly homeless seniors and thirty will be dedicated to extremely low-income seniors. The remaining units will serve low-income seniors between 70% and 75% MOHCD AMI.

The building will feature amenities including full sized kitchens and bathrooms, laundry room, on-site property management, on-site social services, community room with warming kitchen, all electric appliances, gardens, bike storage, and more.

The building is planned to offer a variety of shared spaces and amenities to help foster a solid intergenerational community, including a community courtyard space, bike storage, maintenance rooms, laundry facilities, property management, and resident services offices.

The project will utilize the GreenPoint Rating System as authored by Build-It Green to meet the Owner’s goals of a minimum of 125 points.

The overall design is a U-shape building bounding an interior courtyard facing east. The community room, facing the courtyard, will provide ample space for activities.
