Yerba Buena Commons, New Construction for SRO Housing.
Project Summary
This 109,000 square-foot building includes underground parking, retail space, common tenant areas and 257 single room occupancy (SRO) apartments. The 8-story building is post tensioned concrete with metal stud partitions and a stucco exterior. The project was fast-tracked to meet an aggressive 14-month schedule. Nibbi Brothers worked closely with Seven Hills Properties and Kwan Henmi to provide value engineering input and to meet a very tight budget.
