Project Summary

The rehabilitation and adaptive re-use of 4 historic structures on Gorgas Avenue.  Three of the project’s buildings were originally warehouse type structures and the 4th building was an administrative building. The buildings are now open for lease for Office and Health + Fitness uses.

The scope of work included installation of new building systems throughout, structural improvements and repairs, new service core(s), carpentry and framing, foundations, insulation and siding, painting, sheet metal work, core and shell finishes, reroofing, window repair/replacement, skylights and other work. Selective demo was performed and all new exterior and interior construction. Upgrades were made to meet ADA accessibility requirements; new HVAC , electrical, telecom, data and plumbing systems connected to existing utility services and new service laterals. Additional site work included pedestrian walkways, outdoor common areas, loading docks and connecting decks, stairs, ramps and railings, repairs to site areas affected by construction and the proposed new pedestrian and vehicular areas surrounding the buildings.
