Alamo Square Apartments

104 Units of Affordable and Market-Rate Housing in San Francisco.

Project Summary

Nibbi Brothers was selected by Lalanne Volckmann to build the Alamo Square Apartments which is San Francisco’s Western Addition of McAllister Mews. Alamo Square was built on long-vacant land that the developer purchased from SFRA and consists of 41 low-income condominium units and 62 market-rate apartments. The 125,000 square-foot project is above a 110 space parking garage. The parking garage is concrete construction with a post tensioned podium slab and was self-performed by Nibbi. The apartments consist of five separate wood frame buildings. Each building is four stories in height with bridges and balconies connecting the buildings. Nibbi provided extensive preconstruction services throughout the design period. In addition, Nibbi exceeded the SFRA minority subcontractor and local hiring goals.
