Nibbi Brothers, in a joint venture with Marinship Construction, was selected to renovate and upgrade this 98 unit apartment project. Marinship-Nibbi, J.V. was actively involved in defining the scope of work to meet the owner's budget. The apartment complex contains nine buildings consisting of a mixture of townhomes and apartments. The Nibbi-Marinship team worked closely with the apartment manager's office to coordinate the construction with the residents, who remained occupying the premises. The scope of work included an exterior face-lift including waterproofing, shingle siding repair, structural dry-rot repair, re-roofing and painting. The interior of the units underwent significant repairs including some abatement in selected units and electrical upgrades in all 98 units. ADA-compliant upgrades were performed in the Community Room and office. New garage doors were installed at all townhomes. Site work included new concrete retaining walls, ramps and sidewalks, new patio fencing and landscaping. Nibbi self-performed all concrete, fencing, drywall repairs and interior finish carpentry.
