Nibbi Brothers General Contractors along with Glide Economic Development and the Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation (TNDC), held an Opening Celebration Ceremony on March 25th to commemorate the successful completion of the new 149 Mason Street Studios in San Francisco's Tenderloin Neighborhood.

Reverend A. Cecil Williams, Founder and Minister of Liberation Glide Memorial United Methodist Church lead the ceremony and Mayor Gavin Newsom was on hand to present Cecil with a Proclamation officially declaring March 25, 2010 149 Mason Street Day.
149 Mason Street Studios is an 8-story, concrete building consisting of 56 units of single resident occupancy (SRO) housing for individuals transitioning out of homelessness. There is a community room, common laundry, support services and administrative offices. The concrete building has a full basement, a 1,500 SF landscaped deck on the 2nd floor and common balcony areas on floors 3 through 8 and ground floor commercial/retail space. In addition, 149 Mason Street Studios is a recipient of a Green Communities Grant from the City & County of San Francisco.
