Nibbi Brothers was
selected by the Housing Conservation and Development Corporation to
perform the construction of ninety-two units of family housing on a
negotiated basis. The units are wood frame construction on concrete
foundations. The unit mix includes both townhouses and flats. The three
acre site required extensive site work, including site utilities, new
streets and sidewalks, carports, fencing and landscaping. Nibbi worked
closely with the Owner and Architect to save over twenty percent from the
original budget through redesign and value engineering to meet the
Owner's tight budget. Nibbi was able to meet the Human Rights
Commission's MBE/WBE subcontracting goals for the project and the
neighborhood hiring goal. |
