Nibbi Brothers was selected by the SF Housing Authority to build Bernal Dwellings, a HUD/HOPE VI-funded project. The project encompasses a 4 block radius on Cesar Chavez, 26th, Folsom and Harrison Streets. The project consists is approximately 170,000 SF of new construction; 160 units of low-income housing, 14 residential buildings, a combination residential/facilities building, a separate facilities building, and a maintenance building. In addition, the project has four private streets, site work and new sidewalks.

Bernal Dwellings was the third HOPE VI project that Nibbi Brothers built for the Housing Authority.  In 1997 and 1998 we completed Hayes Valley North and South in San Francisco's Western Addition neighborhood.
