The majority of this project consisted of a new glass and steel, fully enclosed concourse. The concourse was equipped with skylights and new electrical infrared signs for the hearing impaired. Two automatic door entrances were added. A new office was added for the Station Manager and the Station Manager's office was enlarged. The existing restroom and lobby areas were completely demolished and switched so that the lobby faces the tracks. The restrooms were brought up to ADA Standards. The entire project was constructed with no interruption to the Cal Train operations which has approximately twenty-five to thirty thousand commuters moving through their services daily. |
